The purpose of the ARUCAD Acting Department is to train
artists who contribute creatively or practically, who have contemporary acting
and text interpretation skills, who are sensitive to the current social agenda
and who are distinctive in works such as cinema, video, theatre, performance,
digital theatre, commercials, and music videos
While our education programme
applies theory and practice in a balanced manner, it enables students to
produce works together with other students of our University with an interdisciplinary
approach.
At the end of each semester, our
students take part in activities where they can bring their creative works
together with other relevant departments to the audience. In order to complete
their academic education and to develop mutually within the social environment
and local culture they live in, they experience learning while teaching by
taking responsibility in public courses and workshops.

• Copy of original High School Diploma & Transcript (official English translated notarized copies must be provided)
• Passport and ID card copies
• Portfolio (original art works related to the department(s) you are applying for
• English Language Certificate (IELTS, TOEFL etc. if applicable)
• Scanned copy of passport sized photo
University provides students with an STUDIO style comfortable accommodation option.
Our STUDIO is located within 10 minutes walking distance from the university’s campus, offers a standard 2 persons Studio flat type accommodation in a safe, comfortable and well-cared environment.
Each studio flat is fully furnished with bed with base storage, wardrobe, L-shaped sofa, TV, fully functional kitchen and toilet/bathroom. Each studio has Wi-Fi and AC and telephone in each room. Access to the building, elevators, and rooms is operated by key card entry system.
Staying at the university’s accommodation is believed to shorten your adaptation period on the island and university. Since your personal needs will be served in the best possible way, you will be free to focus on your studies.
Based on the assessment of your application (academic credentials and portfolio) students have an excellent opportunity to receive additional scholarship on tuition fees (50%, 75%, 90% and 100%).
