Batterjee Medical College

Batterjee Medical College for Science and Technology was founded in 2005. It is located in North Obhour, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The campus was built to accommodate up to 5,000 students. BMC received the first batch of students in September 2006. It is considered the first private specialized medical college in Saudi Arabia. BMC is one of the newest and largest private medical colleges in the Middle East, equipped with the latest technologies. It also includes a Virtual Hospital to provide students with clinical skills essential to deal with patients using the latest screening methods and treatment simulation on sophisticated dolls (human-like) that contain devices connected to the computer. BMC also includes dental clinics equipped with the latest dental devices. Also, the College has a Research Center that supports researches in all medical fields. The College provides private accommodation for female students and another for male students coming from outside the region. To pioneer competency-based education in the region using the latest virtual technology and as well as traditional methods. To recruit faculty with experience and expertise in their field able to guide future healthcare professionals towards a career of dedication and lifelong learning.
