The Aerospace Engineering MSc addresses the highly demanding requirements of the aerospace industry, developing graduate engineers with theoretical and practical skills through taught modules. Aircraft design, aerodynamics, space mechanics, spacecraft design, propulsion systems and the role of flight simulation in aerospace are taught at an advanced level. You’ll be involved in practical and challenging individual and group aerospace project work. This typically includes the design, build and testing of scaled aircraft or specific critical components based on computational fluid dynamics, structural analysis modelling and flight mechanics. You’ll use the flight simulator for a pilot-in-the-loop assessment of performance.
