CAFA provides first-rate libraries and studios for students and teachers. The Central Academy of Fine Arts has eight schools, namely the School of Chinese Painting , the School of Plastic Arts, the School of Design, the School of Humanities, the School of Architecture, the School of Urban Design, the School of Experimental Art and the School of Art Management and Education. Preparatory courses for foreign students are available.
Undergraduate study at CAFA is RMB 52,000 per academic year.
Scholarships are available at CAFA for applicants who hold Chinese government scholarships. Applicants learn about scholarship information through the Study in China Network http://www.campuschina.org/ and, after confirming the selected school and major, contact the Chinese embassy/consulate or other accepting agency to learn about specific operations and procedures. Applicants then submit the application materials on the CSC Online Application Information Platform for Studying in China at https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn where the application period is from January to April annually.
Undergraduates can apply to CAFA from March to April each year. Candidates must submit the application materials, and take the entrance exam in May. The specific rules are subject to the enrollment guide published on the college’s official website that year.
