Applicants for the two-year MA in Historical Studies must have a minimum three years of BA studies and those applying for the one-year MA in Medieval Studies a minimum of four years of study in history, art history, archaeology, philosophy, philology or one of the relevant source languages. In addition to meeting the General CEU Admissions Requirements, applicants are also required to submit a 500-word description of their proposed research topic, specifying the primary sources and related secondary literature. Applicants may also be required to take a source language examination.
