Managing in the music industry is a unique career that spans talent scouting, artist representation, performer career management, contract negotiation, music promotion and publicity, event coordination, advocacy, industry regulation, effective business communication and industry norms.
This programme is designed to help you understand this unique combination of skills. We believe in industry aligned courses with practical learning and assessments.
This course includes a placement module so you can gain industry experience alongside your in-class learning.

understanding basic accounting and financial principles. business strategy and specialist modules on managing and leading people. entrepreneurship and marketing within the creative industries. In your music industry modules you will critically engage with the big picture of the music industry, from income streams, success metrics and balancing that with working with artists: developing a sensitivity to issues of equality and diversity in the workplace and familiarising yourself with the legal, financial and questions that face managers and leaders of in the music industry.
