Architecture is a great field of study for those who are artistically talented and interested in creative design and the built environment. Clemson's undergraduate program allows students to tap into their creative talents, introduces them to the challenging world of building design and construction, and prepares them to pursue a master's degree in architecture and other fields. Clemson students develop critical thinking, research and analysis skills, and an ability to engage theory and culture with an understanding of how these forces work together in the built environment. The pre-professional undergraduate curriculum at Clemson is conceptualized as fluid, broadening the education to allow students to transform into diverse, well-rounded and proficient critical thinkers and designers. The concept of fluidity is evident in the general education requirements in which students choose a minor as well as a foreign language and is reinforced in the School of Architecture with the Fluid Studios and Fluid Campus.
