This programme is intended to provide students with advanced theoretical and methodological knowledge in Applied Informatics. The curriculum includes core topics such as algorithms and data structures, software engineering, programming paradigms, database systems, computer graphics, artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and information systems. Students also get to specialize in one of several blocks: e.g. Software Engineering; Computer Graphics & Vision; Artificial Intelligence; Programming & Information Systems; or Creating Software for Education. There is a strong emphasis on developing independent scientific work, the ability to formulate and test hypotheses, and to present research results in both domestic and international venues. Practical training includes project work (team-based software development, cloud-native applications, agile methodologies) and opportunities for research projects. Graduates receive the title Mgr.  and are prepared for careers as software developers, data scientists, information systems architects, IT analysts, researchers, or educators, and for further study at the doctoral level.

The entry requirements include a submitted application, proof of English proficiency, and an entrance exam (or an equivalent test based on the bachelor's degree curriculum).
