E-business focuses on the opportunities that IT can provide when private and public organisations interact with their different stakeholders. You will learn to understand and develop IT-based concepts that respond to the needs of the users, organizations and businesses, but also how to implement and commercialize them. This allows you to engage in the creation of innovative services, applications and a many other digital solutions that support the strategies and desired goals for both companies and society at large.
E-business is primarily a programme that links practical business understanding with an understanding of different types of digital tools and platforms for services, information, and communication - often with a focus on multi-sided interactions and an entrepreneurial engagement with new products, processes, tools or interfaces.
The programme teaches you to develop and work with digital solutions. While IT solutions in other contexts often are about doing things faster or cheaper, E-business is also about creating entirely new value propositions and working with the rapidly developing potentials that digital solutions bring to businesses and users. At CBS you will discover that we discuss issues in a very practical way. Working in a cross-disciplinary and culturally diverse student environment, you will be engaged in the analysis, design and assessment of problems and solutions based on real-life cases.
