The Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies is a two-year program entered after completing two years of university studies in another subject. You take courses in design, humanities, technology and professional practice. You'll work individually and collaboratively on design projects in the studio, learning manual skills in drawing, modeling, and building and then the equivalent digital skills.

  The four-month co-op work term is a great way to begin applying new knowledge in a professional architectural practice. Undergraduate admission requirements vary based on your previous education and your intended program of study at Dalhousie. To be considered for admission into the BEDS program, you must complete at least two years of specific undergraduate level courses. A minimum average of B- is required. A portfolio demonstrating your previous creative work, among other documents are also required.
