Designed for those students who demonstrate strong academic abilities and who wish to pursue a career in academia or research within criminology and justice related fields. All applicants are required to have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 per cent or higher in the Bachelor of Criminology and Justice, or an equivalent undergraduate course, and provide a CV or resume, and an outline of the research topic.

All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline; or
  • Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years relevant professional experience.
