INDUSTRIAL DESIGN MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAM
Are you looking to make a difference in the world with your creative technological solutions? When you enroll in our Industrial Design master’s degree program, you will be empowered to achieve real change. You will look beyond the traditional considerations of form and function to integrate emerging technologies, user experience, data, and interaction in your design.
You can choose to translate new technologies into useful everyday products and systems, or focus on social innovation, aimed at solving major societal issues.
SELF-DIRECTED EDUCATION
Since its founding in 2001, the Department of Industrial Design has embraced a distinctive, self-directed, and competence-based educational model. From the very beginning, you are encouraged to develop your own vision and professional identity as a designer. With only two mandatory courses, you have the freedom to shape the rest of your curriculum based on your personal interests, ambitions, and the impact you want to make on society.
This unique approach cultivates innovative, entrepreneurial designers and researchers. Our alumni are known for their proactive, hands-on mindset, where prototyping is an essential part of the design and research process.. That’s why design projects form the backbone of our Master’s program.
