Regenerative medicine is about replacing, engineering or regenerating human cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function. This can be achieved by stimulating the body's own repair mechanisms or, when the body cannot heal itself, by implanting new tissues and organs grown in the laboratory. This rapidly emerging, multidisciplinary field will have a significant impact on current and future health care.

The program comprises a mixture of courses, an (international) internship and an in-depth research project. In this master’s track you will get to grips with the fundamental challenges of regenerative medicine and also develop solutions in the laboratory.
