Our Master of Fine Arts degree focuses on material practice and creative research, informed by contemporary issues and developed in studio courses and research seminars through rigorous analysis, iteration, and critique. Throughout the two-year program, graduate students will cultivate a thesis project, comprised of both a creative and written component, and culminating in a public exhibition. A faculty mentor will supervise your research and assist you in developing your thesis, including during a period of independent research and professional outreach between the first and second year.

If you are applying to the Master of Fine Arts degrees you must hold a recognized four-year Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Media Arts, or Bachelor of Architecture degree. Applicants holding a Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field may apply. Applicants holding a three-year bachelor's degree may apply if it is equivalent to a four-year Canadian degree. // Applicants are required to  submit the Portfolio & Supporting Documents online through SlideRoom. // For further information on admission requirements please check with the University for entry.
