Our low-residency MFA program is structured around three consecutive four-week summer intensive residencies on campus in Vancouver during the month of July, with innovative and interactive online coursework in between. The program is designed for established professionals whose practical circumstances make re-location to Vancouver, or the resident program schedule, unmanageable. The low res platform allows more flexibility in managing a school/work balance. Throughout the degree, the emphasis is on iteration and critique, with input throughout from a range of faculty and contemporary art professionals.

If you are applying to the Master of Fine Arts degrees you must hold a recognized four-year Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Media Arts, or Bachelor of Architecture degree. Applicants holding a Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field may apply. Applicants holding a three-year bachelor's degree may apply if it is equivalent to a four-year Canadian degree. // Applicants are required to submit the Portfolio & Supporting Documents online through SlideRoom. // For further information on admission requirements please check with the University for entry.
