Accounting and Audit

EP's goal and objectives:

Training of highly qualified specialists for the branches of the economy who are able to carry out professional activities in the organization of accounting, auditing and taxation, as well as in the field of economic and business management

Advantages of EP:

For the purpose of international integration and internationalization of education, the EP is working on a student exchange and double degree program with Gangnam University (Gangnam, South Korea).

Students are trained using the computer programs 1C Accounting — 8.3, Expert audit, SONO.

Scope of professional activity:

The field of professional activity of graduates of the EP is the following objects::

— activities of organizations of various sectors of the economy, taking into account the specifics of the industry;

- state management bodies (Ministries and departments, Tax Committee, Audit Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan);

— research organizations and firms, regardless of their organizational and legal form.

Places of employment for graduates:

A graduate of an educational program is in demand in:

— government and management bodies at the republican and regional levels that perform the functions of state control, audit and taxation;

— state structures that form the methodology and carry out practical activities in the field of accounting, auditing and taxation;

— organizations, including financial and credit organizations, non-profit organizations that conduct analytical activities to improve the efficiency of financial, economic and managerial activities;

- audit companies, divisions of internal control and audit services of public and corporate sector organizations.

Academic degree awarded:

Upon completion of training in the Accounting and Audit educational program, an academic degree of Bachelor of Business and Management is awarded.
