B.Sc. (Hons. with Research) Medical Biotechnology: Programme Outcomes

01 Medical Biotechnology Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of Medical Biotechnology, including Human Physiology, Bioinstrumentation, Biosafety, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Microbial Technology, Drug Development, Genetic Engineering, Immunotechnology, Medicinal chemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering, Industrial Bioprocess Technology, and Molecular Diagnostics & Therapeutics.
02 Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.
03 Problem analysis: Utilize the principles of Analytical thinking, clearly and critically, while solving problems and making decisions during research design. Find, analyse, evaluate and apply information systematically and making decisions related to Medical Biotechnology.
04 Modern tool usage: Learn and apply modern and appropriate tools related to Medical Biotechnology. As example, Drug Designing, Statistical Analytical System (SAS), Molecular Diagnostics & Therapeutics, Immunotechnology, and Industrial Bioprocess Technology.
05 Leadership skills: Understand and consider the human reaction to change, motivation issues, leadership and team-building when planning changes required for fulfilment of practice, professional and societal responsibilities.
06 Professional Identity: Understand, analyse and communicate the value of their professional roles in society (e.g. health care professionals, promoters of health, Medical Biotechnologist, managers, employers, employees)
07 Medical Biotechnology Ethics: Honour human values and apply ethical principles in research, professional and social contexts. XIIth with science with minimum 50% marks.

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

For Migration from Other Universities:

1) B.Sc in Medical Biotechnology Ist yr. minimum 50% marks or equivalent

2) XII with Science with minimum 50% marks.
