The preparatory cycle is available to distinguished holders of a baccalaureate degree or an equivalent foreign diploma, as per the conditions set by the Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research. Selected students undergo a two-year undergraduate preparatory course at the school.
During the preparatory cycle, students receive multidisciplinary training that equips them with effective working methods and a comprehensive set of skills required for an engineer. These include critical and analytical thinking, communication and writing skills applied to a scientific context, as well as hands-on practical experience through various experiments.
The preparatory cycle incorporates a range of tutoring and assessment methods, including lectures, tutorials, practical work, conferences, seminars, and independent study. The cycle benefits from the Higher School’s newly renovated infrastructure, specialized laboratories, and a highly qualified teaching staff.
In addition, the preparatory cycle offers students the opportunity to take exams to enter the second cycle of national Higher Schools. Furthermore, students may continue their studies after the preparatory phase at our institution, specializing in one of the following engineering disciplines:
- Molecular Biology
- Enzymatic Engineering
- Immunotechnology
- Forensic Biology
