The MFA in Drama offers an opportunity for independent advanced-level study based on professional practice underpinned by the methodology of practice-as-research. Learning in depth in the major disciplines of Directing, Playwriting, Applied Theatre/Drama and Education, Dramaturgy is complemented by taught courses to broaden knowledge in contemporary theatre, drama education, applied theatre, writing for performance, dramaturgy, the performing arts, and their cultural contexts.
