bin Abdullah Al-Humairi, the College's CEO, with the support of His Highness
Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It was established as part of an academic
partnership with Al-Azhar University.
In 2008, the

as a national non-profit institution under the administrative and financial
oversight of the Government of Dubai. This legal framework was further
strengthened in 2014 by a governance decision from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan
bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.
The College expanded its academic offerings in 2016, securing accreditation for
its master’s programs in Fiqh and Its Fundamentals, Private Law, and Public
Law. This growth continued with the introduction of a Master’s in Quranic and
Hadith Sciences in 2022.

student opportunities, the College has built partnerships with leading
institutions in the job market, providing practical training and professional
experience. It has also established academic and research collaborations with

the College’s programs is evident in the achievements of its graduates, as many
of them hold prominent positions in various sectors, including Sharia and civil
judiciary, legal consultancy, fatwa issuance, academic and legal research,
