Inspired by the visionary leadership of our two iconic founders – Paul Bocuse and Gérard Pélisson – Institut Paul Bocuse has developed into a renowned International School of Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Food Service Management.
Institut Paul Bocuse trains more than 1,200 students each year, representing 69 nationalities studying on 10 international campuses. From undergraduate through to doctoral level, our courses benefit from an innovative teaching approach.
The bachelor’s programs are registered and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation and Industry.

A unique approach to learning – experiment with your technical, behavioral and managerial skills in real-life working environment. You’ll work alongside an international team of 210 leading professors (33 percent PhD qualified) including a team of prestigious Chefs, Meilleurs Ouvriers de France.
International exposure & global careers: opportunity to travel and personalize your studies on an international exchange at one of 23 partner schools based in 18 different countries.
Flexible learning paths and work experiences: Talent Managers coach you individually to help you choose from the range of careers available. Students can also choose from a range of programs of more than 30 different courses from undergraduate to postgraduate level.
A rich and varied campus life: The school’s campus features a vibrant Students’ Unions. There are a range of activities organized by clubs and societies in sports, charity work, culture and arts.
Most of our bachelor’s degrees are taught in French/English or 100 percent in English. Similarly, the master’s degrees are taught in English.

Scholarships
Institut Paul Bocuse is authorized to submit students at the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program which was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. This scholarship encourages applicants up to 30 years old at master’s level and applicants up to 35 years old at PhD level.
Each year, the G&G Pélisson Foundation for Institut Paul Bocuse offers scholarship to talented students aged under 28 who have achieved excellent academic results.
We provide our students with a distinctive learning environment designed specifically for an experiential teaching approach that offers a real-world pedagogical experience combining practice and theory for a 360° exposure to the Hospitality, Food Service and Culinary Arts sectors.
This real-world learning environment includes 6 training restaurants including a 1-star Michelin restaurant, a 5-star school hotel and an apartment hotel.

Institut Paul Bocuse’s main campus is in Lyon, France, however, the institution has 18 international campuses worldwide. Cultural diversity plays an important part of life on a campus with 1,200 students. There are 69 different nationalities and 40 percent of classmates are international.
Accommodation is just five minutes from the school, with 114 bedrooms equipped with private bathrooms.
The international students affairs department will help students with all of the administrative procedures. Before the first week, international students have a two-day "Easy France toolbox" seminar. Every month the international student affairs department organizes cultural activities for international students. Find out more here. Students can try tennis, yoga, football, cross training and so many more activities. Students live both on and off campus.
