The Department of Sport Industry and Leisure aims to cultivate creative professionals in the sport and leisure fields through an in-depth understanding of the value and role of sport in modern society, as well as diverse sport-related systems. The department fosters practical knowledge by developing job-ready competencies and a global mindset required in sport and leisure industry settings. Through this process, students grow into professionals who will contribute to the sound development of Korea’s sport industry. After graduation, students can pursue careers in a wide range of areas, including the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee and other government-affiliated sport administration agencies, professional sports leagues, sport management and marketing, the sport leisure industry, sport agency work, and sport welfare-related service sectors.
