La Salle Campus Barcelona, founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, is a university campus of international prestige with more than a century of history that offers undergraduate, master's, postgraduate, doctoral and specialization studies in the areas of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Animation & VFX, Digital Arts, Philosophy and Health Engineering, with technology and humanism as essential elements of its DNA.
Currently, it has more than 8,700 students, of which more than 36% are international with up to 116 different nationalities. The employability rate of graduating students is 97%. In its ecosystem it has two unique innovation and research spaces: the Internet of Things Institute of Catalonia and the Interactive Arts & Science Laboratory (IASlab), two reference laboratories in Europe on the Internet of Things, and transdisciplinary research and artistic creation.
La Salle Campus Barcelona encourages an entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and applied research, favoring constant interaction between students and companies. Faithful to its mission of training professionals with values capable of transforming society, promotes the development of students social and humanist sensitivity and transversal collaborative work between its areas of knowledge.
In the closest territorial area, it is a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull (URL), the first private university in Spain created in 1991. It is also a member of the International Association La Salle Universities (IALU), the entity that brings together 65 Lasallian universities with close to 300,000 students in the world. In addition, it is part of various international consortia and networks such as the Aristos Campus Mundus campus of international excellence, the European University Association (EUA), the European alliance ENGAGE.EU and the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), among others.
La Salle is the largest non-profit global network dedicated specifically to education. It has more than 300 years of history and is present in 80 countries. La Salle Campus Barcelona is made up of 8 buildings spread over an area of 75,100m2 with more than 200 classes and laboratories, an international workshop, library, restaurant, university residence, shop, Sport & Fitness and La Salle Technova innovation park.
Among the various laboratories, we highlight IoTiCAT (Internet of Things Institute of Catalonia), the first European laboratory for innovation and research into the Internet of the Future, strengthening La Salle’s ecosystem of innovation, fostering the transfer of knowledge and promoting research; and IASlab (The Interactive Arts & Science Laboratory) is a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and granted by the Department of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya through the Agència de Gestió d'Ajus de Recerca i Universitaris (AGAUR). The project will transform the La Salle building of the University Campus into an audiovisual hub of reference in Europe.

La Salle-URL has a University Life team, in which the entire educational community is involved, which works to make campus life something that goes beyond the classroom, and which acts as a lever for the students’ personal growth. From a humanist and Christian perspective, and following the teachings of Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, La Salle Campus Barcelona engages in the comprehensive training of students based on a plan that is structured and focused on a number of key areas:

Cost of Living
Barcelona offers a high quality of life and a vibrant international environment at a cost comparable to other major European cities. While it is generally more affordable than cities such as Paris or London, it may be slightly more expensive than Lisbon or Athens.
On average, students should budget between €1,100 and €1,400 per month, depending on their accommodation choice and lifestyle.

Barcelona has an excellent public transport network (metro, buses, tram and trains), making it easy and affordable to move around the city. Many students also choose to walk or cycle.

La Salle Campus Barcelona promotes equal opportunities through an extensive grant programme that includes more than 30 types of financial aid for undergraduate and master’s students, as well as specialisation courses. The aim is to ensure access to university education for talented students, regardless of their economic or family background.
Each application is reviewed individually, taking into account the applicant’s personal situation and academic record. In the 2024–2025 academic year, 48% of new undergraduate students received a grant. Overall, €7.9 million were allocated to 2.529 grants, and one in two students at La Salle-URL studies with financial support.
Of this 7,9M million, 83 % came from the university’s own funds, while the remaining 28 % came from donations.

Since its creation, La Salle Campus Barcelona has maintained a close relationship with the professional and business world in order to understand its needs first-hand and, as a result, train and prepare students for their future careers in the best possible way. For over 20 years, La Salle’s Business Services area has provided customised solutions for the corporate sector, including tailor-made training for professionals, talent recruitment for companies, professional development initiatives, and innovation and corporate entrepreneurship services for organisations.
The campus currently works with more than 1,000 companies, associations, and organisations that benefit from these services. It also fosters long-term relationships with its alumni through the La Salle Alumni network, which acts as a link between the university environment and the business world. Current students are also part of this connection ecosystem, benefiting from specific initiatives that support their transition into the labour market.
In addition, Talent Week is an initiative that creates a forum where current students and alumni have the opportunity to connect with leading companies and organisations, learn about job opportunities, and present their professional profiles.
