This two year programme is designed as a first professional degree in Landscape Architecture for students with an undergraduate university degree in any discipline, including unaccredited degrees associated with Landscape Architecture. The degree consists of ten Master’s level courses and a dissertation (small research project). The degree will teach you all the knowledge and skills required to practice Landscape Architecture. Students can only start this degree Semester 1 (late February). This degree is accredited by the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), meaning graduates can become registered professional Landscape Architects who are highly sought-after within both the public and private sectors throughout New Zealand and internationally. Graduates will be prepared for employment as professional landscape architects, both within New Zealand and internationally, and will demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for NZILA and IFLA accreditation.
