  • The Metropolitan College Maritime education programmes are offered in partnership with the renowned Warsash Maritime Academy, which is part of Solent University in Southampton, UK.
  • The programmes focus on developing both comprehensive knowledge, but also the quality of character and interpersonal skills necessary to meet up with effectiveness to the standards of their profession.
  • Engine Officer programmes consist of 6 successive training phases, alternating between time spent at college and time spent at sea. The 5th phase of the programme includes a 6-week training period, during which students will visit the Warsash Maritime School in Southampton, in order to undergo specialized training and participate in examinations at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), which issues the relevant Certificate of Competency.
  • Whether on cargo or passenger ships, on tankers, containerships or bulk carriers, Deck Officers experience a career full of challenges and they are active members of one of the most thriving industries in the world.
