The efficient tandem that includes one of the leading Russian Universities and one of the oldest European Universities — a recognized expert in the system of European education — provides the highest training level in full compliance with the Bologna process. The duration of the studies under the program is two years. During the first semester students are trained at their home universities with the study process held in Russian language. During the second semester both Russian and German graduates study at MIEP MGIMO, during the third semester — at Leipzig University. The forth semester is research internship. Courses in the second and third semesters are taught in English.
