The Sports Diplomacy programme is designed to train world-class specialists able to ensure effective management of sports organizations, their structural and functional units at a high professional level, as well as to represent interests of Russia in the world sports arena. The programme familiarizes students with the establishment, development and the current state of international relations and international sports movement, reveals historic, organizational and legal aspects of Russian diplomacy and its application to protect Russian strategic interests in the world sports arena. Due regard is paid to the activity of international and national organizations in the sphere of international sports movement, their functions and competencies.
