The Training of Medium-Rank International Managers program was opened in MGIMO in 2005 according to the cooperation agreements between MGIMO University, the ICN Business School (Nancy, France) and the University of Bologna (Italy). Then another foreign universities joined the program and as result there appeared an international consortium of 7 Universities: Bologna University (Italy), ICN Business School of Nancy (France), MGIMO University(Russia), La Sal University (Mexico), School of Business of the East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai, China), Uppsala University (Finland), Federal University Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegri, Brazil). This multilateral program was named MIEX. In December, 2008 the multilateral treaty about MIEX joint program was finally signed. The master program is aimed at giving students the key skills enabling future professional managers to work in globalized international business. The main requirements for the program is a bachelor degree and good knowledge of English.
