The Misr International University (MIU) Mass Communication Program is a legacy of excellence.  For over 25 years, the Mass Communication program at Misr International University has been a dynamic pioneer in media education. Our long-standing reputation is built on the exceptional quality of our graduates—over 3,000 ethical calibers since the first graduating class in 2000—who are now occupying leading positions in Egypt and globally.

·          Our program's core philosophy is to forge a powerful synergy between professional media technical competencies and the theoretical and ethical foundations of the media world. We don't just teach technology; we instill responsibility.

Students complete 131 credit hours, which include specialized courses, foundational Faculty requirements, and University requirements designed to enhance English language proficiency and provide a broad general knowledge in non-media sciences.

·          Equipping the Modern Media Professional

-           The curriculum is structured to ensure every graduate is equipped with top employability skills and the latest technology updates:

-           Foundation: Department courses solidify students' understanding of mass communication and build essential research and communication skills, including photography, multimedia, editing, and design.

-           Specialization & Immersion: Students choose to specialize in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), Audio-Visual Production, or News Production. These advanced tracks immerse students in professional media practices through real-world projects, guidance from professional expert mentors, and the creation of award-winning projects.

·          World-Class Facilities

MIU provides the sophisticated environment needed to transform ideas into professional-grade work. Students have full access to:

Ø   Six highly equipped multimedia labs

Ø   A virtual television studio

Ø   Three audio-studios

Ø   Two film editing suits

Ø   A smart virtual reality news hub

These cutting-edge facilities facilitate the execution of all student projects, providing a true professional experience.

·          Impact and Societal Connection

The MIU Mass Communication program is deeply connected to the Egyptian society and its developmental goals. Every specialization project—whether an IMC campaign, social media strategy, documentary film, or multimedia assignment—is dedicated to serving the development goals of Egypt. We actively support governmental and non-governmental organizations by dedicating most of our students' major projects to them, ensuring our program output has a direct, positive, and tangible impact on the nation.
