Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI), founded in 1921, is located in Russia’s capital Moscow. The university is known for its knowledge in the ICT sector.

MTUCI has five campuses. Two main facilities are located in Moscow, two branches are located in Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don. MTUCI also has a telecommunications college located in Moscow.
 
In Moscow, the Aviamotornaya Street campus houses such faculties as: Networks and Communication Systems, Cybernetics and Information Security, Information Technologies and Radio and Television.
 
The Faculty of Digital Economy and Mass Communications, the centre for distance learning in bachelors and masters programmes are based on the campus on Narodnaya Opolcheniya Street. 
 
MTUCI accommodates more than 3,000 students, including more than 250 international students from 25 foreign countries.
 
There are a number of extracurricular activities available at MTUCI including sports groups, like:

International students are guaranteed a place in one of the four dormitories at MTUCI. 
 
 
The typical admissions criteria and necessary documentation required for MTUCI is: 
 
A document (documents) to identify personality, citizenship; 
Documents of education are necessary for enrolment at the university, showing the classification (degree), studying subjects and grades
Bachelors degree: certificate of full secondary education
Masters degree: bachelors degree or specialists degree
Postgraduate degree: masters degree or specialists degree
 

All documents must be translated into Russian and notarised in the Russian consulate abroad or in the notary office on the territory of the Russian Federation.
 
If necessary, an educational document obtained in a foreign country must be legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and certified by the Russian Embassy in the country of issue. 
 
In some cases, validation or recognition of foreign studies or degrees, issued by Main State Center for Education Evaluation (Moscow) is required.
 
Visa (for visa countries) and Migration card with purpose of entry «STUDY» 
Medical certificate indicating the absence of medical contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation
Negative HIV certificate 
All international students must buy medical insurance at their own expense
MTUCI offers the following scholarships for international students. 
 
More than 85 percent of MTUCI graduates find a job within six months of graduation.
 
In the third year, all MTUCI students are required to complete an industrial internship. Students undertake internships in the field of IT and telecommunications.
 
MTUCI has practical training agreements with more than 130 partner companies.
