The Distributed Information Systems and Applications profile examines the priority areas of development of information and communication technologies and communications, including embedded software applications, mobile applications, the transition to software-configurable infrastructures, such as: PaaS (Platform as a Service); IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service); SaaS (Software as a Service); network security and its planning, methods and means of information protection in modern information and telecommunication networks. The key elements in this case are technologies for virtualizing network resources and functions. Free distributed software is widely used in these technologies. These technologies provide a significant simplification of the procedures for managing network infrastructures, digital transformation and the transition to mobile business processes, reduce the cost for creating and operating infocommunication systems.

Master's degree program "Software protection of information"
The Master's program "Software security of information" includes the study of fundamental problems of information security in the conditions of a modern information society formation, information technology, computer, infocommunication and information-analytical systems. This program is focused on the preparation of graduates who possess not only excellent theoretical knowledge, but also skills that allow to apply this knowledge in practice in the development of information technologies of various levels of complexity.

Master's degree program "Big Data Management"
The Master's program “Big Data Management” is focused on training highly qualified specialists in the development and maintenance of complex software.
Students of the direction gain deep knowledge and skills in the development of information systems, as well as the application of machine learning and big data analysis methods.
Much attention is paid to the consideration of issues related to the practical application of neural networks, the study of methods for formalizing processes and phenomena in the conceptual apparatus of neuromathematics, the construction of machine vision systems based on neural network approaches.
The program adresses modern technologies ofr the preparation, processing and mining of big data, the use of these methods for solving applied problems.
