Dept of Architecture was established in 1980 with a commitment to create a learning environment to meet all the challenges of the built environment in the era of rapid development.
The present ecosystem of the department. is the result of several years of dedication and committed efforts by the faculty members, students, non-teaching staff members, support staff, practising architects, professionals and the Institute administration.
Our department, with the guidance of all the senior faculty members and the vibrant set of young faculty members, works together to attain the following set of goals.
- Driving our system to provide comprehensive student support, ensuring that each student can engage fully in their academic pursuit.
- Encourage experiential learning — research, professional internships, and design–development projects that prepare students to address prevailing real-world challenges.
- Continue as a leading institution that imparts energy-efficient and sustainable architectural concepts that bridge theory and practice.
I strongly believe that together, we can achieve the above Goals and make significant progress in the lives of our students and pave a desirable path for the future of our profession and the society at large.
