Our Economics and Finance degree will develop your knowledge of modern economics and key finance topic, which will develop your understanding of the workings of the financial markets and financial decision-making.


You will be introduced to mathematical and statistical techniques used in both areas where you will develop a variety of IT and quantitative skills for your degree and our career.


 You will graduate was a confident economics and finance expert.


 On this course you will:


  •  open the door to a variety of roles and a versatile career in both the public and private sectors,
  • benefit from our status as a Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner and through self-study, complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate giving you an interactive introduction to the financial markets
  • gain commercial awareness and develop a business mindset with an optional work placement after your second year or broaden your global outlook with an optional study abroad year
  • take a study abroad year at one of our partner institutions, or complete your second year at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands (subject to approval)
