The Main Educational Program (MEP) in the field of study 710300 “Applied Informatics in Big Data Analytics” with the qualification of Bachelor has been developed at Osh Technological University named after M.M. Adyshev (OshTU) in accordance with the state educational standards of the Kyrgyz Republic and the requirements of employers, students, and society. The purpose of the program is to develop students’ personal qualities, as well as to form general cultural and professional competencies in accordance with the requirements of the state educational standards for higher education in this field. The program complies with the state educational standards for higher education in the field of “Applied Informatics” (Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1578/1, dated 21.09.2021) and other regulatory acts, including the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Education.” Graduates are awarded the qualification of Bachelor upon successful completion of the final attestation. Workload: 240 credits, including lectures, practical training, and assessment of knowledge. Program principles: two-tier system; practice-oriented learning; ECTS credit system. The OshTU program in Applied Informatics prepares bachelors to solve professional tasks through a combination of theory, practice, and research. Graduates are in demand in the labor market.

Winners of international and national Olympiads are granted admission privileges. Applicants who have graduated from institutions of secondary professional education (colleges, vocational schools) must provide the corresponding diploma. International applicants are required to submit a notarized translation of their documents into Russian. Privileges are also provided for persons with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups.
