The Medicine program specializes in occupational health, setting it apart from other study programs alike. Our curriculum was designed to develop an extensive and integrated dynamic between academic institutions and health services to transform the future of medical education that not only cures, but also promotes health within the community and on a global scale. It seamlessly integrates education, research, and community engagement within the field of health sciences of the thriving industrial hub of Southeast Asia.
Our faculty consists of seasoned doctors, healthcare workers, students, industry professionals, and government workers all working towards ensuring our students receive quality education from both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. We offer exciting opportunities such as ENHANCES (Elective in Health Allied Sciences) to broaden students’ knowledge and PUSH-IT (President University Student Health Innovation Time) to ignite creativity in the field. Join us on a journey where excellence, innovation, and real-world impact converge.
The curriculum is divided into two phases: the Bachelor’s Phase (3.5 years) and the Professional Phase (2 years). For the first phase, students delve into a diverse range of medical fields over the course of 17 comprehensive blocks. Each block equips students with the competencies required to be a general practitioner, supported with early exposure within a real setting.
The second phase is optional. During this phase, students must work towards earning the esteemed title of ‘doctor’ (dr.). This phase takes place in various educational settings, including teaching hospitals, clinics, and community health centers. Within a span of 2 years, students are expected to transform into fully-fledged doctors, ready to serve the healthcare needs of their communities.
