The Master's program in Conservation and Use of Cultural Heritage Objects (CCHO) is offered through full-time education formats. All forms of education are organized based on a credit-modular system. The normative duration of the Master's program is 2 years.
Conservation and Use of Cultural Heritage Objects is a specialization in the field of architecture and construction. It includes teaching specialized subjects related to the field in educational institutions, as well as scientific research activities at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sectoral research institutes, scientific research centers, and design institutes. The program also involves scientific research activities in scientific-production associations, addressing complex issues related to organizing and managing the activities of construction, design, and service enterprises with various forms of ownership.
The program covers setting the prospects for the conservation and design of cultural heritage at national, regional, and sectoral levels. It also focuses on developing programs for its development. The program involves developing, conducting expertise, and ensuring the implementation of legal and regulatory documents related to the conservation and design of cultural heritage, including urban planning rules and standards (SHNQ), construction rules and standards (QMQ), and departmental rules and standards (IQN).
Additionally, the program addresses issues related to organizing the use of buildings and structures in the conservation and design of cultural heritage, conducting technical and economic expertise, and substantiating the costs of usage. It is aimed at providing a comprehensive set of tools, methods, and techniques for managing cultural heritage preservation and its usage in the context of modern construction and architecture.
