The Master's program in History and Theory of Architecture is offered through full-time education formats. All forms of education are organized based on a credit-modular system. The normative duration of the Master's program is 2 years. History and Theory of Architecture is a specialization in the field of architecture and construction, which involves teaching specialized subjects related to the field in educational institutions. It also includes addressing complex issues related to historical buildings and monuments at various institutions such as the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Art Studies, the Agency for Cultural Heritage, and their regional branches, as well as at archaeological institutes, institutions related to physics, local design institutes, and private workshops for the restoration of historical monuments.
The program focuses on identifying the role of historical buildings and monuments in the development of economic sectors and fields. It also emphasizes developing professional skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive set of tools, methods, techniques, and styles for human activity, aimed at the management and application of these in addressing architectural, historical, and theoretical challenges.
