The master's program reflects the current state of mathematical science and is focused on training specialists who are proficient in modern research methods in the following areas: mathematical analysis, functional analysis and their applications to modern mathematical physics, spectral theory of differential equations and Sturm-Liouville problems, qualitative theory of differential equations, ill- posed and non-classical problems of mathematical physics, power geometry of nonlinear algebraic and differential equations, probability theory and mathematical statistics, solid mechanics, continuum mechanics, elasticity theory, fluid and gas mechanics, and soil mechanics.
Preparation in this program allows graduates to continue their education in PhD doctoral studies for future mathematicians-researchers, as well as to start work as comprehensively trained specialists in universities.
