Our course is aimed at those looking for an advanced-level education in Ancient Literature and History including a general introduction to Italian Literature, and Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary History.

  • Year 1: modules in common with other undergraduate courses of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities;
  • Year 2: specific modules related to the major and other learning activities;
  • Year 3: specific modules related to the major, similar and optional subjects, and a final written essay.

In some areas of interest such as Greek and Latin Languages and Literature, we also offer preparatory modules and Greek and Latin elementary courses (remedial courses with no CFU) aimed at those students interested in our major, but with no previous experience in the Classical studies.

The learning process takes place through the most modern learning investigation techniques, digital and on paper (papyrus, epigraphs, manuscripts, iconographic material, etc.).
