About Shaqra University

Shaqra University looks forward to the achievement of overall objectives, represented in preparation and development of national human resources, and the provision of qualified and trained personnel, in response to the needs of development and the needs of the job market, that is in addition to the enrichment of scientific research and development of Graduate Studies to satisfy community needs and development issues. The university is also looking forward to expand the acceptance of secondary school students as far as possible and also to apply different types of education. Shaqra University will also open more scientific colleges during the Ninth Plan to satisfy the needs of development of qualified national capabilities. Currently the university has (21) College distributed in several provinces and centers in the region of Riyadh, which are :

Shaqra, Alquwaiya, Ad Dawadmi, Sajer, Dharma, Afif, Almuzahmya, Thadeq.

The university currently has 21 colleges distributed in the governorates and sub-governoratesn, namely Shaqra, Al-Quwaiiyah, Al-Duwadimi, Sajir, Dhurma, Afif, Al-Muzahimiyah and Thadiq wa Mahmal. The colleges of Shaqra University are spread across a wide area of approximately 400 km2 (150 sq mi).
