Admission Requirements

Eligibility:
a) A Bachelor's degree (equivalent) in agriculture from any recognized university and an M.S./M.Phil./M.Sc. degree in agricultural sciences or an equivalent degree from any other recognized university (as recommended by the relevant committee).

b) A minimum of second class (50% marks) in the undergraduate examination or a CGPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0.

c) A minimum of 2 years of work experience in teaching/research/extension.

d) At least two scientific publications after obtaining the master's degree.

Or

B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.)/equivalent degree with a first-class (minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0) and a minimum CGPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 in the master's examination will be eligible for direct admission to the Ph.D. program at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute.
