Psychology is the study of human thoughts and behaviour. Students who study psychology are always keen to understand themselves and those around them. They will be more aware of the phenomenon of life and have a better understanding of it, which includes human memory, thinking styles, learning, problem solving, emotions and social interaction. At undergraduate level, students will be exposed to basic knowledge in psychology. Upon successful completion of the programme, they will gain conprehensive knowledge of psychology and are able to solve psychological questions with intellectual independence. Graduates of this programme are able to demonstrate competence in scientific knowledge and skills regarding human behavior, thinking, feeling, perception, reasoning, cognitive and physiological aspects of human. This field also emphasizes practical training and professional ethics, particularly in research.

Admission Requirements
• UEC: A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of five (5) credits in any subject and a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English, or its equivalent • STPM: A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with CGPA 2.0 and a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English at SPM level, or its equivalent • A-Level: A pass in GCE Advanced Level (A-Level) with a minimum of CGPA 2.0 and a full pass in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English, or its equivalent • Foundation / Matriculation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English at SPM level, or its equivalent • Diploma / Advanced Diploma: A Diploma / Advanced Diploma in any field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English at SPM level, or its equivalent • Others: ATAR is 65 and a minimum of scaled score 50 in any 2 subjects AND a credit in Mathematics and Science and a pass in English at SPM or its equivalent OR Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government • English Competency requirement for International Student: Achieve a minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS or 500 in TOEFL or its equivalent.
