    Founded in 1962, the Universidad del Pacífico is a private, non-profit university located in the Jesús María district of Lima, Perú.

    Ranked as the most prestigious higher education institution in its fields of specialization in Peru, it’s also one of the leading institutions of its kind in Latin American and is the first Peruvian university to be AACSB accredited in both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It’s also AMBA accredited.

    Universidad del Pacífico offers a number of internationally recognized undergraduate, MBA's, and master’s degrees, most of which are taught in Spanish. There are, however, over 50 English-taught courses available too. Its specializations include accounting, business, administration, marketing, international business, business engineering, information engineering, economics, finance, and law.

    Exchange program

    Universidad del Pacífico has signed a series of agreements with important exchange universities. Thanks to them, students from all over the world can access the University's academic services. In addition, if the student does not belong to a university that has an agreement with Universidad del Pacífico, they can also study at the university as visiting students.​

    Students who belong to universities that have no exchange agreements with Universidad del Pacífico, “Free Movers” or “Study Abroad” can send an email to [email protected] stating their interest to study at this University.

    Short program

    Universidad del Pacífico offers its students short-term programs abroad, as well as various Seminars and customized Summer Programs for exchange students and institutions.

    Experience in Peru

    Students have access to a number of digital learning facilities, including Blackboard, Power Campus, and an online library.

    Language Center

    For those who wish to develop and improve their Spanish language skills, the university’s Language Center offers intermediate and advanced level Spanish courses at an additional cost. These courses are available three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Interest should be highlighted in your initial application.

    Religious counseling

    Universidad del Pacífico, through its Religious Counseling area, offers a space of self-encounter and personal dialog. Thus, the university remains faithful to its calling, identity, and mission, aligned to the Jesuit principles, and accompanies and supports personal and community growth processes under the light of faith.​

    The admissions process varies between programs and study levels.

    International students will need to submit their Carné de Extranjería or valid passport as well as several other documents, including:

    • High school diploma transcript
    • High-quality color ID photo (this should be taken within one month of you submitting your application to the university)


    The admissions office at the university will then review each application. Should your application be successful, you’ll be notified as having been ‘selected’. You will then be given the necessary information by the university in order to progress with the rest of your application.
