Having a more professional public management, focused on efficiency and results, is becoming more important every day. Citizens are increasingly aware of the role and responsibility of the State and as such demand quality and transparency in what it provides. The State needs to have modern institutions, capable of providing a range of services in accordance with the needs of citizens and adequately implement public policies. The economic and social challenges continue to be complex and timely, innovative, sustainable responses and solutions are required, always within a framework of accountability and transparency. The School of Public Management of the Universidad del Pacífico is committed to contributing to the strengthening and modernization of State institutions through the training of public servants. The Master of Public Management has been designed to train professionals who seek to deepen their knowledge, develop analytical skills and strengthen leadership skills. It has a highly recognized teaching staff, who are capable of navigating between the theoretical and practical aspects of public management. The curriculum is made up of courses that provide the latest achievements and innovations in public management focused on results. Our students will have training in the use and scope of the different administrative systems that make up public finances. Likewise, they have courses that offer conceptual and analytical tools for the design and implementation of public policies. The diversity of our students in terms of sectors and levels of government also brings experiences and practices that enrich the debate during teaching.
