The Specialization in Pneumology at the Nueva Granada Military University, which is developed at the Central Military Hospital as a base, is a second specialty medical postgraduate program, which trains upright specialists, socially responsible, high performance and competent in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of pathologies of the respiratory and sleep system, with the ability to work as a team with internists and other sub-specialists of the same. In this sense, the program is directed towards the production of new knowledge and research formal scientific and applied to solve the respiratory problems of the community, with projection and social responsibility. Its emphasis is on the prevention and promotion of healthy states in members of the Defense sector, their families and the community in general.
