Applicants to the Doctor of Law (PhD in Law) program are required to demonstrate adequate English proficiency through a recognized TOEFL test.
The minimum required TOEFL score is 450 for the Paper-Based Test (PBT), or its equivalent in other TOEFL formats. Applicants with a TOEFL score above 600 (PBT) or its equivalent are considered to have a high level of English proficiency.
The Doctor of Law program is designed to develop advanced expertise in legal theory, legal research, and legal development. It emphasizes critical, original, and interdisciplinary research aimed at addressing complex legal issues and contributing to the advancement of legal science and legal reform at national and global levels.
Applicants are required to hold a Master’s degree in Law or a closely related field, demonstrate strong academic and research potential, submit a research proposal aligned with the program’s specialization, and fulfill all administrative and academic requirements as determined by the university
Courses and academic activities are primarily conducted in English, and students are required to write and defend their dissertation in English, unless otherwise stipulated by the university.
