The Polytechnic School is also found on the Cappont Campus and aims to give students practical skills to successfully enter the job market.
The Faculty of Medicine is found on the Ciències de la Salut Campus and is one of the oldest in Europe. Medical subjects were originally taught in the Estudi General hospital, founded in 1300, by famous doctors such as Arnau de Vilanova. It had now moved to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital.
The Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy is also located on the Ciències de la Salut Campus and is found on the grounds of the Hospital de Santa Maria.
Finally, the university also has a Doctoral School. It has its own campus and is home to all of the institution’s PhD students.
