Since its implementation, the Biotechnology studies have followed the guidelines and recommendations derived from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), so that in the adaptation to the EHEA (Bologna Plan) we have been able to take advantage of the experience gained during these years. The Degree in Biotechnology offers students a multidisciplinary preparation in the fields of biological sciences, chemical and industrial technology and in the direction and management of bio-enterprises. Students have the opportunity to contact the business and research world by acquiring a solid theoretical and practical training. Teaching is given by specialists of recognized prestige in the fields of molecular and cellular biology, engineering, economics, physics, physiology, genetics, chemistry, mathematics and other specialties of the biomedical sciences and agri-food technology. With a clear practical vocation, the degree is aimed at training graduates with broad and solid capabilities to develop a professional activity in some of the fields of biotechnology.
