At UTP, Master of Science in Process Integration is designed to keep pace with industry-wide process system engineering challenges. As such, the programme will prepare you to face up to the challenges across multiple sectors that demand the expertise of resourceful process system engineers. Significantly, the programme highlights the applications of recent advances in process system engineering and analysis techniques that will provide a different perspective from the outgoing conventional practices. Candidates must hold a BSc Degree in Engineering/ Engineering Technology discipline with minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized university; Candidates with BSc Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology discipline with minimum CGPA 2.00 but below 2.50,​ can be admitted and must have 5 years working experience & pass UTP internal rigorous assessment; and Candidates with BSc Degree qualification from different discipline, must undergo pre-requisite courses​ in Engineering/ Engineering Technology.

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) was established on 10 January 1997 and is a leading private university in Malaysia. The campus is built on a 400 hectare (1,000 acres) site strategically located at Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. The university is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the national oil and gas company of Malaysia. UTP offers a wide range of industry-relevant engineering, science and technology programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  It aims to produce well-rounded graduates with excellent leadership qualities and communication abilities. The university conducts extensive research activities in collaboration with PETRONAS and other institutions and industries, locally and abroad, on six research focus and niche areas.  They are self-sustainable building, transport infrastructure, health analytics, hydrocarbon recovery, contaminant management and autonomous system.
