The University of Diyala was founded in 1999. Since its establishment, the University ofDiyala has become one of the most effective and fast-growing institution inIraqi higher education community. The University of Diyala has over 22,000undergraduate and over 1000 postgraduate students enrolled in different majors.More than 1100 faculty members are distributed over 14 different scientific andhumanitarian colleges.
